Atletico Madrid And Sevilla Aim For Lazio Defender Service
Two Spanish clubs, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are reportedly interested in getting the services of Lazio defender Luiz Felipe whose contract will expire next year. So far, the Brazilian has not shown any signs of signing a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
LazioNews24 reports that the 24-year Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe's contract with the Biancoceleste will expire next year in 2022 and a new contract has not yet been signed.
The news further revealed that although there was an agreement between Luiz Felipe and Lazio it was not officially signed yet so there is still a chance he will leave the Olimpico on a free transfer in the summer of next year.
Los Rojiblancos are always on the lookout for freebies of great value and have been monitoring Felipe's progress so far. Diego Simeone's team needs additional options in their defense especially in the center back sector because Stefan Savic and also Felipe Monteiro have started to age.
Meanwhile, Sevilla is interested in signing the Biancoceleste defender because they are looking for a suitable replacement for Jules Kunde who is likely to leave in the summer of next year.
The 24-year-old has been a key player for coach Maurizio Sarri and has featured in almost all competitions this season, only missing two games through injury.
