Pedro Can't Wait For The Derby Della Capitale Lazio Vs Roma
Lazio winger, Pedro can't wait for the Derby Della Capitale against city rivals Roma to take place at the end of September. The Spaniard was brought in from the Giallorossi in the market last summer.
According to reports by Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, 34-year-old Spanish winger Pedro has made a solid start to the season, contributing one assist in the win over Spezia, and will continue to be one of the mainstay starters in Maurizio Sarri's side.
Although Biancoceleste has signed Mattia Zaccagni instead of Filip Kostic, Pedro still seems to be Sarri's preferred starter at this time. The former Chelsea player is expected to start against AC Milan after the international break, but he has also been thinking about the derby against local side AS Roma on September 26.
The winger last scored for the Giallorossi in a derby against The Aquile last season and he dreams of making redemption in an important game at the end of this month.
Coach Maurizio Sarri is keen to sign the 34-year-old when he is available, as the two have worked together and have gotten to know each other well during their time at Premier League club Chelsea.
Meanwhile, The Aquile have made a perfect start in Serie A by recording two wins in the two games played so far in the 2021/22 season and topping the standings on goal difference from second to fifth.
