Lazio Lose Less In The Market Than AS Roma This Summer
Lazio reportedly only suffered a slight loss of 5.2 million euros compared to city rivals AS Roma, which amounted to 90 million euros in this summer's market. Maurizio Sarri's team brought in five new players this summer.
As reported on Twitter, AC Maldini earlier this week revealed that Lazio spent 12.6 million euros in the market this summer by bringing in five new players namely, Felipe Anderson, Elseid Hysaj, Luka Romero, Toma Basic, and Mattia Zaccagni.
Meanwhile, Biancoceleste's revenue this summer reached 7.4 million euros and the largest revenue came from the sale of Argentine striker Joaquin Correa to Inter. An even bigger sum will come again in the summer of next year when his loan contract at the San Siro becomes permanent.
While Lazio's city rivals, AS Roma, recorded the biggest loss in Serie A this summer after spending 97.8 million euros and only earning 2.2 million euros means the total amount of losses that must be overcome by the Giallorossi is 95.5 Million Euros.
Meanwhile, the Serie A club that made the most money this summer was Inter, which amounted to 197.1 million euros which they got from the sale of players like Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi. Considering they spent 36 million euros and the total income they received this summer was 161.1 million euros.
