Immobile: "After Milan Match We Lost Our Enthusiasm"

Lazio striker, Ciro Immobile, wants to make the match against AS Roma a moment of revival for his team.

Lazio has experienced poor results in their last three matches in the 2021-2022 Italian League.

After losing 0-2 to Milan on 12 September, they were only able to achieve a 2-2 draw against Cagliari and 1-1 against Torino.

Not only in Serie A, but Maurizio Sarri's team also suffered a 0-1 defeat on the first matchday of the Champions League group stage from Galatasaray.

Regarding the series of poor results, Ciro Immobile admits his team has lost enthusiasm.

"After the AC Milan we lost our enthusiasm and that shouldn't happen even if you lose to a strong team like Milan," said Immobile.

Ciro Immobile also wants to make the Derby Della Capitale contra AS Roma a moment of Lazio's revival.

"Sunday is a derby and it would be a good move to get a win," he said.

"The derby has to be played with sharpness. We believe we can do it, but it has to be through our efforts," said Immobile.

"The coach and staff have done their best, we have to follow it," said the 31-year-old player finished.
