Rugani Stays At Juventus This Season
Daniele Rugani's name continues to be associated with Lazio: the defender's future seems to have been written by now.
The defender currently in the Juventus squad has played the best seasons of his career under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri. And since the Lazio defense would need a fix, the profile of the 1994 center-back could certainly be an interesting reinforcement. Considering the squad currently available to the coach, excluding Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi who will most likely be the starters, the backup players such as Denis Vavro and Stefan Radu but also Dimitrije Kamenovic and Patric can be moveable, a reinforcement also can be a suggestion. However, the Juventus center back will not arrive in the capital during this transfer session.
As confirmed in recent times by Tuttosport, the former Empoli will remain in the Piedmontese capital at least until the next market session. Coach Massimiliano Allegri, after saying goodbye to Merih Demiral who ended up at Atalanta following the transfer of Cristian Romero to Tottenham, would have given his green light for the 27-year-old's stay in Juventus. Before joining the Old Lady squad, the Tuscan defender was considered one of the most interesting Italian prospects on the contemporary scene. Nonetheless, his take-off never actually took place. After the brackets on loan at Rennes and Cagliari Rugani will restart from Juventus.
The incoming moves regarding Lazio remain blocked. At least until someone moves out. The only members of the defenders that are unlikely to move from the capital during this season are Radu, freshly renewed, Acerbi, and Luiz Felipe. The others are all considered transferable. Only when someone comes out can you go back to talking openly about incoming solutions.
