[OFFICIAL] Pedro To Lazio Becomes The Historic Transfer Between The City Rival Clubs

Pedro is a new Lazio player.  An operation closed in a very short time by the club that can now welcome the Spanish.  

In modern football, no player from either Lazio or Roma has joined their city rivals directly and Pedro will be the first to do so.

According to Il Messaggero, Pedro carried out medical examinations in Paideia this morning: an operation carried out in great secrecy, to escape journalists.  And this afternoon he could already be on the pitch in Formello for the first training session from Lazio.  The goal, not an easy one, is to be on the bench in Empoli.

The announcement came directly from the club social medias.  A photo that portrays Pedro with the eagle on his chest and the white and blue scarf and then the message: "We present our new number 9".

The Spaniard and Maurizio Sarri won the Europa League together at Chelsea, in a season in which the former Barcelona star scored 12 goals for the Blues.  And now the two are ready to reunite at Formello ahead of the 2021/22 season
