List Of Lazio Players That Sarri Brings To Pre-season At Marienfeld

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has reportedly brought 27 of his players to undergo the second pre-season training session which took place in Marienfeld, Germany.  The Biancoceleste delegation departed from Italy on Monday (02/08) local time.

According to news reported by Italian media, LazioNews24 the Lazio squad will spend the next five days in Marienfeld, Germany until 7 August.  The players will then travel to the Netherlands to face FC Twente in a friendly before returning to Italy.

The players who were absent from Maurizio Sarri's team were Marco Alia, Riza Durmisi, Mohamed Fares, and Bobby Adekanye with some surprise players joining the group such as Jony, Andre Anderson, and Dimitrije Kamenovic.

Here is the complete list of players Sarri brought to Germany.

Goalkeepers: Marius Adamonis, Pepe Reina, Thomas Strakosha;

Defender: Francesco Acerbi, Elseid Hysaj, Dimitrije Kamenovic, Manuel Lazzari, Adam Marusic, Patric, Stefan Radu, Luiz Felipe, Denis Vavro;

Midfielders: Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, André Anderson, Danilo Cataldi, Gonzalo Escalante, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic;

Forwards: Felipe Caicedo, Joaquin Correa, Felipe Anderson, Ciro Immobile, Jony, Vedat Muriqi, Raul Moro, Luka Romero.

Previously the Italian capital club had undergone the first stage of pre-season training which took place at Auronzo di Cadore which lasted for two weeks before continuing in Germany.  Meanwhile, the Biancoceleste will play their first match in the 2021/22 Serie A season by playing an away match against promoted team Empoli which will take place on 21 August.
