Lazio Ready To Release Eight First Team Players This Summer
Lazio is reportedly willing to sell eight main players this summer to get additional funds to spend on new players. Some players are indeed placed on the selling list while others do want to leave the Olimpico.
According to reports by Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport revealing that several Lazio players have been placed on the selling list or may wish to leave the club this summer, the Biancoceleste will have to sell their players to fix the liquidity ratio problems they are currently experiencing.
Some of these eight players were not called up to training in Marienfeld while others were with Maurizio Sarri's squad and coach in Germany. The top player on the Aquile transfer list is 26-year-old Joaquin Correa.
Correa has been attracted by Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain but an offer worth 18 million euros plus Pablo Sarabia failed to convince president Claudio Lotito to let the Argentina international go.
The following is a complete list of eight players from Maurizio Sarri's team who may be released this summer and their estimated transfer values, as reported by Transfermarkt.
- Joaquin Correa, 30 Million Euros
- Riza Durmisi, 700 thousand Euros
- Mohamed Fares, 5.5 Million Euros
- Bobby Adekanye, 600 thousand Euros
- Patric, 6.5 Million Euros
- Denis Vavro, 4 Million Euros
- Jony, 2.8 Million Euros
- Vedat Muriqi, 9 Million Euros
