Lazio Meets With Filip Kostic's Agent To Discuss Transfer
Lazio is reportedly holding a three-hour meeting with agent Fali Ramadani to discuss Filip Kostic's transfer from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
According to reports from various sources including Sportitalia, it was stated that Ramadani was in Rome on Saturday (31/07) evening local time and had dinner with Lazio's sporting director, Igli Tare.
28-year-old Filip Kostic plays on the left-wing but can also be operated on the right, making him an ideal addition to Maurizio Sarri's 4-3-3 formation at the Biancoceleste.
His contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs until 2023, but the Serbia international is looking to gain new experience by playing in Serie A. Meanwhile, the Bundesliga club is also in further negotiations with Milan for Jens Petter Hauge, who is said to be replacing Kostic.
The transfer value in the two operations is reportedly relatively the same as Hauge in the range of 8 million euros and Kostic in the range of 10 to 12 million euros. Apart from Kostic, Ramadani also discussed other possible transfers with The Aquile in which the Italian capital club wants to sell some of their players, as their current transfer strategy is hampered by limited incoming funds.
Kostic was signed by Eintracht from Hamburger SV in 2018 for approximately three years he has made 127 appearances and contributed 26 goals in all competitions for the German club.
