Lazio Interested In Loaning Julian Draxler From PSG This Summer
Lazio has reportedly approached Paris Saint-Germain to inquire about the availability of German striker Julian Draxler. Maurizio Sarri's team is interested in borrowing the player's services.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Lazio has expressed interest in the services of 27-year-old German striker Julian Draxler, who is unlikely to get enough playing time this season given the arrival of superstar Lionel Messi to the French capital this week.
For this reason, PSG is reportedly willing to release Draxler on loan and will even pay half of his salary, this is considered a good opportunity for Biancoceleste considering the funds they will disburse will not be large to realize this transfer.
The Aquile are looking to add a winger or forward for coach Maurizo Sarri this month due to limited options in the sector apart from Felipe Anderson and also two young players, Raul Moro and Luka Romero.
The 27-year-old Draxler is contracted to PSG until 2024, making 24 appearances in Ligue 1 last season with a total of 1061 minutes, during which time he scored four goals and contributed three assists.
Meanwhile, until now, The Aquile has not been able to register new players due to liquidity ratio problems, and one way to overcome this is to sell some of their players before the end of the transfer market this summer. There is only a week left for the new Serie A season to begin next weekend and the capital club must immediately register their new players such as Felipe Anderson, Stefan Radu, Elseid Hysaj, and Luka Romero to play in the opener against Empoli.
