Gerard Lopez: "Basic Just Wants One Club"

The President of Bordeaux, speaking to the French media about the situation of the Croatian player who is being targeted by Lazio.

The picture is pretty clear.  Toma Basic and Lazio agree, they have an agreement based on a five-year contract for 1.5 million per season.  An agreement that for now has held, despite the interest of other clubs such as Napoli and Atalanta and above all despite the biancoceleste, cannot register any new purchases due to liquidity index. 

The Lazio market is blocked, sales have been expected for two months now but they do not arrive and so Basic remains on standby.  Bordeaux is waiting for the decisive offers, they have acknowledged the player's desire to wear the Lazio shirt, but they cannot wait forever, and here are the words of the Bordeaux president, Gerard Lopez:

"Basic? We know that the player and the entourage want to try a new adventure and we are not opposed."

"We have three clubs interested in the boy, but Toma prefers a club and we will try to work with them to define the transfer. there are two other offers, so you have to make a choice."

Lopez's message is clear: we are willing to please Basic, but we must hurry.
