[FRIENDLY] Twente - Lazio = 0 - 1

Lazio won 1-0 in a friendly match against Dutch club FC Twente which took place Saturday (07/08) evening local time.  One of the star players, Luis Alberto did not play in the match due to muscle fatigue.

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri benched Luis Alberto throughout the match against Dutch club FC Twente on Saturday night local time due to muscle fatigue.  Ciro Immobile scored the only goal of the game in the third minute and helped Maurizio Sarri's side to a positive result against the Dutch club.

Luis Alberto was fined at the start of last summer after he delayed his return from holiday and appeared to force his transfer to another club.  However, he was expected to play in the match but Sarri decided to keep him on the bench, and Tuttomercatoweb report no disciplinary action was involved in the 62-year-old's decision.

The player is experiencing muscle fatigue and the coach has opted to avoid further risking Alberto's injury ahead of the start of Serie A in less than two weeks.
