Xherdan Shaqiri Tempted To Move To Lazio
Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri admits he is interested in a move to Lazio this summer. The Swiss player admitted that he was interested in moving to the Biancoceleste because he was eager to experience the concoction of coach Maurizio Sarri, who is known for his beautiful football.
The 29-year-old player was later linked with several clubs, one of which was the Italian League contestant, Lazio.
Regarding the rumors of a move to the Biancoceleste, the former Inter Milan player admitted that he was aware of the rumors and claimed to be interested in moving to the Italian capital.
Shaqiri said that Maurizio Sarri's 'Sarri Ball' style of play would match his playing style as well as praised the performance of the Biancoceleste Sporting Director, Igli Tare.
"Igli Tare has done such a great job at Lazio for several years," said Shaqiri in an interview with Corriere Dello Sport.
"If the rumors of their interest are true, then I feel very honored."
"I also happen to have been following Lazio's development for a long time and they are a great team."
"With the characteristics of my game, it looks like (Maurizio) Sarri's attacking style will suit me very well," concluded Shaqiri.
With the code that has been filled by Shaqiri, if they are interested in the player then Gli Aquilotti just has to negotiate with Liverpool.
