Second Phase Retreat Will Be In Marienfeld

It was now becoming a habit for Lazio to extend the retreat after the initial phase in Auronzo di Cadore and, as reported by today's press review by Radiosei, this year too the Biancoceleste will not be outdone: after the forced break last summer due to Covid-19 Lazio will probably return to Marienfeld, Germany, where it has already been in 2014, 2018 and 2019. 

The first part of the preparation in Auronzo will last from 10 to 28 July, which means that by calculating a short break, the departure for Germany will take place between 1 and 2 August, to then stay there for at least a week and probably play another friendly match in addition to the four already scheduled in Cadore.  

Official confirmation is expected, but it seems Sarri wants to bring his new team back to Germany.
