[OFFICIAL] Warta Poznań Sign Szymon Czyz From Lazio
Polish midfielder Szymon Czyz leaves Lazio after his contract expires. Born in 2001, after three years in the capital, the player from Gdynia decided to leave Italy and return home to sign a three-year contract with Warta Poznan.
"We are very happy because he is a young and talented boy who has already made his debut in the Champions League, he trained with the first team of Lazio and was in the team in several Serie A matches. We are even happier that Szymon has chosen Warta. because after our offer Lazio also offered him the renewal. At that point, however, the player was already convinced that Warta Poznan was the best choice for him and he decided to choose us ", said Robert Graf, sporting director of the club of Poznan.
"It was my first time in the Champions League for the Lazio senior team. An unforgettable moment and I am very happy that I could make my debut in such competitions," said Szymon Czyż.
"I want to gain experience in senior football and it seems to me that Warta Poznań is the best place for me at the moment. I had no problem choosing a club. I come here to give something back and help the team either repeat or do a better result than last season. I would like to introduce myself to the fans on the pitch and show my best side. Together with the team, I want to achieve the goals set for us."
"I am a central midfielder, I like to play offense and defense. I want to do everything on the pitch, so I will fight and try with all my strength for Warta to score as many points as possible this season," he emphasizes.
