Milan and Lazio Fight For Josip Iličić
Atalanta understands that Josip Ilicic is now being wanted by AC Milan and Lazio. The club from Bergamo then set a price for the playmaker with a Slovenian passport.
In the 2020/21 season, Josip Ilicic managed to score 6 goals plus 10 assists in Serie A and helped Atalanta qualify for the Champions League for the third time in a row.
But this year could be Ilicic's last year playing at Bergamo's Stadium after the 33-year-old is said to be looking for another challenge at a new club.
SportMediaset then claims that Lazio and AC Milan want to secure the services of the playmaker in the transfer market this summer.
Atalanta is aware that their player is being hunted by their rivals in Serie A. Gian Piero Gasperini's club then set a tag of 10 million Euros for any club that wants to bring Ilicic.
La Dea is open to selling Ilicic because the player's contract itself is only one year away. They chose to let the player go this year rather than lose him for free in 2022.
Since joining La Dea in 2017, Ilicic has made a total of 149 appearances in all competitions.
From that number of matches, the former Fiorentina player managed to produce 56 goals plus 39 assists.
