Lazio Scheduled To Play Four Friendlies In Pre-Season

Lazio is reportedly set to play four friendlies and two of them against Serie C clubs Triestina and Padova in the pre-season ahead of the 2021/22 season.

According to reports by Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport,Lazio squad will play four friendlies at the Auronzo di Cadore, two against local amateurs and two against Triestina and Padova.

Coach Maurizio Sarri and his staff have been hard at work preparing plans for this pre-season, with his performance set to be key in terms of understanding his tactical system ahead of the start of the season.

The Biancoceleste will stay at Auronzo di Cadore for around 18 days and will then return to Rome before departing for the second pre-season. The squad will leave on July 10 and return on July 28, 2021. Sarri's assistants have given the green light to all facilities and the 62-year-old coach asked for a place where he can have a one-on-one private consultation.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri has officially signed a two-year contract with The Aquile with an option for a third year. Previously, the 62-year-old coach was still under contract with Juventus until 30 June 2021 and the agreement finally expired on 1 July.

He is currently working hard with his staff to prepare for his team's training sessions this summer which will start on 10 July at Auronzo di Cadore.
