Lazio Ready To Hold Meeting With Mino Raiola To Discuss Januzaj Transfer
Lazio is reportedly ready to meet with Mino Raiola to discuss the transfer of Real Sociedad striker Adnan Januzaj whose contract expires next year. The Italian capital club is a long-time admirer of the player's service.
As reported by Italian media, TuttoMercatoWeb on Saturday (17/07) local time, Belgian winger Adnan Januzaj's contract with Spanish club Real Sociedad will expire next year in 2022, and his agent, Mino Raiola is currently holding negotiations to discuss a contract extension.
While discussing a new contract for the 26-year-old winger, Lazio is a fan of Januzaj's service who has joined Real Sociedad since 2017, and the president of the Biancoceleste, Claudio Lotito is likely to hold a meeting with Raiola soon to discuss the transfer of the former Manchester United player.
Januzaj was not part of Roberto Martinez's Belgium squad at Euro 2020 this summer, having only made one appearance for the Red Devils since 2019. Meanwhile, Belgium only qualified for the quarter-finals after being eliminated by the Euro champions, Italy.
Last season the 26-year-old made 27 La Liga appearances for Real Sociedad, playing 1010 minutes in total. In that period he scored four goals and contributed four assists by averaging 4.88 shots per 90 minutes. He also managed to complete 3.63 dribbles per 90 minutes and 5.93 progressive passes per 90.
