Igli Tare Gives Latest Lazio Transfer News This Summer
Sporting director Igli Tare provides an update on Lazio's activities in the transfer market this summer. But previously he admitted that the Italian capital club had to resolve some issues before signing new players.
Igli Tare admits Lazio will have to work things out before signing new players this summer. The Biancoceleste have appointed Maurizio Sarri to replace Simone Inzaghi as their head coach.
The former Chelsea and Juventus coach has signed a three-year contract with the Biancoceleste and he is waiting for the club to sign their first new player of the summer.
"We are trying to solve some of the problems we had in the past, after that we will strengthen the team depending on the need," Tare said at a press conference held to discuss the pre-season his team was playing as quoted by Football-Italy.
According to reports reported by Tuttomercatoweb, the director refers to The Aquile's liquidity index which will force them to strike a balance between selling players and bringing in new players.
"We still don't know if we will introduce Sarri at Roma or Auronzo di Cadore."
What is certain is that the Italian coach has signed a contract with the Biancoceleste after his tenure at Juventus officially ended on 30 June and now he is ready to lead his new team to undergo pre-season which will start on 10 July next.
