Adekanye: I Love Sarri's Formation And Game Style
Lazio winger Bobby Adekanye has highlighted his excitement to develop under new coach Maurizio Sarri. Speaking to Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) after yesterday's 10-0 friendly win over local side Radio Club, the 22-year-old Dutch winger commented on the win.
"All the players came back well physically and this is good, we can work well. The new tactics of the coach are different from the previous one, after this match, I saw everything could go well."
He alluded to what the 62-year-old Italian coach asked the attackers.
"I haven't spoken personally to the coach, what he wants from a striker is when the other team has the ball, we have to attack immediately. That way the team can move forward, steal the ball and play. I've always played in this position, I like Sarri playing. with this formation. I like to play on the right-wing to cut in and score goals and assists."
Lastly, Adekanye talked about his efforts to improve and work with his teammates.
"The whole team helped me a lot, in this game Caicedo told me a lot because he's a veteran. I enjoy listening to him improve. I've improved off the pitch, I need to be more aggressive and score more goals and make more assists. but in this formation, I can do it."
