Lazio Will Soon Meet The Agents Of Marusic And Milinkovic-Savic This Week
Lazio is reportedly set to meet with the agents of two of their players: midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and full-back Adam Marusic, Mateja Kezman this week to discuss their new contracts.
According to news reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero on Tuesday (29/06) local time, Lazio wants to secure the future of their two players after transfer rumors spread around Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Adam Marusic who are out of contract.
The 28-year-old from Montenegro is out of contract with the capital club next year in 2022 and the Italian capital club is looking to extend his contract with his form and versatility last season has proven as he became a key player under the previous coach, Simone Inzaghi.
As for Milinkovic-Savic, Juventus and Liverpool are both interested in signing the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder, but president Claudio Lotito is unwilling to discuss an offer under 80 million euros.
The futures of both players will be discussed with Kezman this week with further developments to be revealed in the coming weeks.
It is hard to imagine Milinkovic-Savic leaving the Biancoceleste this summer as the player is considered not to be sold by the new coach, Maurizio Sarri. All thanks to his impressive performances with The Aquile since joining from Genk a few years ago. Even last season he has voted the best player in Serie A.
