Lazio Makes An Official Offer To Sign Julian Brandt
Lazio has reportedly made their first bid for the services of Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt, signing him on loan with a buy option, and will be obliged to buy him if they finish in the top four.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Lazio is targeting Julian Brandt from Borussia Dortmund under the new coach, Maurizio Sarri. Furthermore, the latest news from Calciomercato claims that Biancoceleste has submitted an official offer which has been sent to the Bundesliga club.
The offer is in the form of a loan contract worth 3-4 million Euros with an option to buy at the end of the season for a total value of 25 million Euros. However, it will be an obligation to make the transfer permanent if The Aquile successfully penetrates the Champions League zone next season. This season they only finished in the top six and will compete in the Europa League.
The 25-year-old player can be played as a left midfielder or trident in attack or positioned as an attacking midfielder. The Aquile are not alone in their hunt, as Premier League giants Arsenal is also eyeing the German international's services.
Julian Brandt made 45 competitive appearances for Dortmund this season and completed it with four goals and four assists. They poured 25 million Euros to recruit him from Bayer Leverkusen in 2019.
