Lazio Are Still Monitoring Boavista's Center-back
Lazio is reportedly still monitoring the development of Portuguese club Boavista's center-back, Jackson Porozo, who has just had a satisfying debut season in European football. The Italian capital club is interested in bringing him to the Olimpico this summer.
Currently, in Maurizio Sarri's team, the defense sector is mostly inhabited by players who are veterans, so additional players at a young age are needed to rejuvenate the Biancoceleste squad.
According to reports by Calciomercato, Lazio has been monitoring Ecuadorian center-back Jackson Porozo for some time now, with sporting director Igli Tare considering signing him before he decided to leave for Portugal.
At first, Porozo struggled to get game time this season before finally becoming a regular in the first team towards the end of the season, he was one of the key players for Boavista who saved them from relegation in Portugal's NOS League by sitting in 13th place and only two points adrift of the relegated team, Rio Ave.
The 20-year-old defender from Ecuador is contracted by the Portuguese club until 2025 and the transfer value reaches 4 million euros and he is represented by agent Daniel Manouchehri from MMK Soccer.
Porozo made 11 appearances in the NOS League this season for Boavista with a total of 695 minutes, he scored two goals, was shown one red card, and helped his team keep three clean sheets.
